Larry Espe is the former superintendent of School District #60 Peace River North. He has been a teacher, principal and district administrator for over thirty years, and for the past 4 years he served as the province’s Superintendent of Careers and Student Transitions. His focus has been on curricular transformation and the co-creation of authentic learning experiences for ALL students. He and his wife, Debbie Mah, have three grown children whose differences have inspired his work.

He was born in a small town in north eastern British Columbia and grew up in a village called Montney. He has always been, and still is, proud to be considered a “Montney Boy”.
